Impington Village College
Description
The special needs department at Impington Village College, otherwise known as the Pavilion, has been open for 20yrs. Ms Barrell is the senco of the department.
It has a lot of facilities for students in wheelchairs and those with a variety of other disabilities. These include a physio room and disabled toilets. There are 3 small classrooms in which children are taught in smaller groups than in normal classrooms. It is well known as being outstanding for integrating students into mainstream school. Teaching assistants accompany the students into lessons or work with them 1:1 in the Pavilion.
