Harston & District Village Warden Scheme

Description

The Scheme is available to elderly, infirm, or house-bound people in Harston, Hauxton and Newton, other than those in warden-controlled housing

The Scheme aims to:

Provide reassurance to members of the Scheme living independently in their own homes by ensuring that regular contact is made with them;

Offer assistance in cases of particular need, and carry out small practicable services,

Provide a link if needed between individual members and any external or care agencies that will assist a member, and in particular to call a doctor or district nurse in case of sickness
