Hertfordshire Action on Disability (Mobility Centre)

Description

The Mobility Centre offers driving ability assessments to people with disabilities to ascertain which type of vehicle would best suit them and ascertain if they require any adaptations to the vehicle. The Centre has five dual-controlled vehicles, some of which are specially adapted.

The Mobility Centre also offers free advice and demonstrations of equipment to help clients get in and out of a vehicle more easily and load a wheelchair into a car. They have equipment such as wheelchair ramps, hoists and swivel seats.
