They are committed to developing better services for all students with disabilities. Their staff are active in research and development and are constantly updating their skills.
The Centre has five bases: Cambridge is the headquarters, with three modern, well-equipped assessment suites in Anglia Ruskin University. EARAC assessments are also conducted regularly in Chelmsford, Colchester, Luton and Norwich. Each of these has a fully equipped assessment suite. They also carry out assessments in students' homes or at one of their home visit bases close to where the students' live.
Their team consists of twelve assessors. All of them have specialist interests in particular areas of disability and provide a strong knowledge base on which they found their assessments.
They can arrange evening and weekend assessments in Cambridge if you find it difficult taking time off during the working day. Ask for details when making an appointment
