Other or former names: DWP

Description

The DWP is responsible for the government's welfare reform agenda. It delivers support and advice to people of working age, employers, disabled people, pensioners, families and children.

It is a large organisation so go to their website and to the "Contact Us" page to find the appropriate contact for particular queries. There are also useful links on the website: www.dwp.gov.uk/lifeevent/discare/

The website can be navigated with keyboard shortcuts.

The Disability and Carers Service (DCS) is part of the Department for Work and Pensions. They help disabled people and carers to lead independent lives by administering and delivering disability benefits, providing advice on benefits and supporting the Government's commitment to increasing the inclusion of disabled people in society. They also work closely with disability and carers' organisations, helping them in their work with disabled people.
