The Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) has 40 years of experience in helping older and disabled people find equipment solutions that enable them to lead independent lives. Their website has a range of downloadable factsheets which give information on how to choose suitable products. At their Equipment Demonstration Centre in London visitors can try out over a 1,000 pieces of equipment and receive impartial personal advice from a team of qualified occupational and physio-therapists. The website has links to over 800 self-help groups and other useful organisations.
