Other or former names: The Handicapped Anglers' Trust.
Wheelyboats are wheelchair accessible boats, originally designed for disabled anglers. They provide a straightforward means for disabled anglers to get on the water and help many other disabled people, young and old, enjoy a wide range of other activities. The Wheelyboat Trust works to meet the demand for Wheelyboats wherever it exists. The website has a list of places which have Wheelyboats, a list of fisheries which are accessible without Wheelyboats, a description of how to obtain one and a round-up of news and events.
Both Rutland and Graffham Water have Wheelyboats. To book the Wheelyboat at Graffham, telephone 01480 810 531.
Rutland and Grafham Waters are two of the country's premier trout fisheries and offer excellent fly fishing in glorious surroundings. Both fisheries are geared up for the needs of disabled anglers. Up to date news and reports from both fisheries can be found at www.rutlandwater.net.
