Description

An independent charity for disabled people, their carers and dependents.

EDPA provides an extensive range of support services including: Skills training (they reskill and mentor disabled people to assist their successful entry into sustainable work); Supporting clubs for disabled people (eg subsidising fees for CRB clearances and subsidising insurance covers); Advice and information - including a helpline (for accessible holidays, disability and discrimination law, transport and mobility, welfare benefits); Service projects - taking part in research and change projects.

EDPA has many opportunities for volunteers. It is affiliated to National Register of Access Consultants; it is a member of the Community Transport Association and a member of DIAL UK
