Description
React is a small charity based in Stevenage that aims to assist disabled people in various aspects of their lives.
The charity was first set up in 1991 to discuss the needs of disabled people and developed into a registered charity, run by a committee of trustees, providing services through two staff members and a small team of volunteers, all of whom have a disability or personal experience of it.
A principal activity is applying their knowledge and empathy with disabled people to assisting benefit seekers with their applications, and following them up with help at tribunals when needed.
