Description

Rowan is a local independent charity and arts centre that aims to enhance people’s lives through providing art and work skills training to adults with learning disabilities. Through providing a safe and creative environment their students are able to grow creatively as well as develop their practical skills and self-esteem.

The students and inspiring artists are involved together in the creative process in the well resourced studios. They work together in a wide range of materials and contribute their own skills to each piece of artwork.

Rowan’s programme is continually evolving and for people who need greater support to participate, our Changing Images Project encourages creativity to the surface using a wide range of materials and activities.

Rowan offers separate morning and afternoon sessions as well as the option to spend the whole day with us.
