Other or former names: TNAUK
TNAUK is a registered charity based in the East Sussex market town of Heathfield.
TNAUK provides national newspapers and magazines in a variety of accessible formats - by subscription. Audio tape remains the most popular; however, more and more people are opting for the more easily navigable audio CD while still others are signing on for the electronic service (computer disk, e-mail, internet download and CD-ROM) which not only allows access to complete publications (audio tapes and CDs have a restricted capacity which only allows for edited highlights from each publication), but greatly increases the speed of delivery.
The range of newspapers and magazines produced in alternative format by TNAUK is considerable and amounts to over 230 titles.
All the reading, which amounts to thousands of hours each year, is undertaken entirely by volunteers.
