Dial-a-Ride Newmarket

Also known as: Forest Heath and East Cambridgeshire Community Bus

Description

Dial a ride offers door to door transport services for Newmarket and the surrounding area on fully accessible minibuses with a friendly trained driver who can help you on and off the bus. They have plenty of room for pushchairs, wheelchairs, scooters, walking aids and shopping. You need to be a member of the scheme (membership fees are modest) and journeys must be pre booked.

Community Car Service

The scheme offers door to door transport to people who are unable to use conventional public transport. They will organise for a volunteer driver to collect you from your home, using their own vehicle.

They can take you to Medical Appointments, Dentists, Opticians, Chiropodists, Shops or to visit friends or relatives.
