Description
The Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) is the UK’s largest voluntary provider of adult education. This is the local branch.
The WEA is voluntary adult education movement, committed to widening participation and to enabling people to realise their full potential through learning.
All WEA courses, whether accredited or unaccredited, engage the tutor and students, through the Learning Outcomes Strategy, in agreeing proposed learning outcomes at the start of the course and in reflecting upon their achievement at the end. Students and tutors are also asked to evaluate the course process and to consider the next steps that learners might wish to take.
