Description

This is a day service offering work-based vocational training and work opportunities.

It is for adults with disabilities or mental health problems who want to gain experience in a work setting.

The philosophy at Papworth Centre is to treat people as individuals and to identify their skills, strengths and abilities. They also enable people to access and take up volunteering placements in the local community

Papworth Centre offers training and production work. The centre has contracts with a number of local companies. The work undertaken includes soap packing, collating and assembly of electrical and engineering products.

They also have a Print Shop with the facilities to produce quality printed garments, promotional items and a full range of photocopying services.

Access Facilities include: Disabled parking bays, Disabled toilet with alarm, Handrails, Hearing induction loop with instructions, Public telephone, Public transport access and Wheelchair-access ramp
