The objectives of the British Association for Service to the Elderly (BASE) are to improve services and quality of life for older people, by providing educational opportunities for those involved with care.
BASE provides training in the care of older people and other adults who need care and support. They organise workshops and conferences and publish a number of training resource packs and a quarterly journal.
