Grafham Water Sailability

Other or former names: GWS

Description

A registered charity based at Grafham Water. It is run by disabled sailors and able-bodied helpers with the primary

objective of enabling people with disabilities to enjoy the fun of sailing. Some members enjoy competitive sailing, while others simply enjoy being out on the water in a more relaxed manner. Whatever your ability and needs, our aim is to help you get on the water and to enjoy sailing. Our sailors primarily sail between April and October, though we have a hard core of winter sailors and helpers. Recreational sailing takes place on Thursday afternoons between 1300 and 1700hrs when priority is given to new sailors. We provide boats, waterproof clothing and safety equipment, and free instruction.
